Supported Employment
Find a job that suits you and your skillset. Supported Employment provides satisfying work for people with disability.
Supported Employment is all about building skills and confidence in a job you love. We offer Supported Employment through our Social Enterprise work sites. Each work site may be different, but one thing is always the same - we make sure everyone feels safe, supported, and valued at work.
You’ll have the opportunity to gain new skills, be part of a team and earn an income to help you do the things you love. If you’re aged 16 or older, you could work in a commercial environment with support and mentoring from Employment Coaches and Production Team Leaders.
Supported Employment can help you:
- Learn new skills
- Earn money
- Be confident at work
- Make new friends
- Contribute in a safe, accessible space
- Make a real difference
- Feel job satisfaction in a rewarding job
You’ll work with people who value your skills in a rewarding job where you’ll feel a great sense of satisfaction with how you contribute to your workplace each day.
Supported Employment is funded through the NDIS to help you start working in a supported workplace. You can use it to grow your skills in a safe space before looking for a job out in supported independent employment or mainstream employment.
