A little about us here at Gympie
We’re all about locals supporting locals so providing work opportunities in a small town is important to us. Our people are proud of their work, and we’re proud of them.
With only 15 people on-site every day, you’ll be part of a close-knit team and your Employment Coach will always be on hand to help you.
Our site is a lot quieter than others because we don’t have loud machines. If you decide to join us, we’ll help you get started with a transition plan and a 13-week trial to see if what we do fits with what you’re looking for.
For those hot summer days, we’ve got an air-conditioned lunchroom. Plus, a lovely outdoor area that’s perfect for winter afternoons. There’s even a veggie garden outside. You can use the produce for lunch or take it home for dinner.
In addition to monthly lunches and barbecues, we plan lots of fun activities and we’ve formed lasting bonds with our teammates.
You’ll also have choices for transport with on-site parking and bus stops nearby.
What we do at this site
- Sell stakes and pegs
- Delivering and collecting document destruction bins
- General packing
- Decanting products
- General assembly
We’re looking for people who:
- Can stand for at least 2 hours at a time.
- Can hold their hand in the same position (while seated) for about 30 seconds.
- Is comfortable taking and comprehending direction/instruction.
- Has good dexterity in hand movements.
- Has lifting skills.
