Winner of $1.3 Million Prize Home Found
After an extensive search, Endeavour Foundation Lotteries has found the winner of its $1.3 million prize home in Buderim on the Sunshine Coast.
‘LC’ from Bellingen in NSW had proven impossible to contact after repeated attempts, so the Lotteries team reached out through the media in the hope LC would contact them.
Head of Lotteries, Kirsty Moore, said while she had yet to complete the full verification process, she was confident LC had been found.
“I have received an email from LC, and there was some key information in there that only the winner would know,” Ms Moore said.
“It turns out LC is overseas and, as part of our Star Supporter program, was automatically entered into the draw.
“Someone they know told them that they may have won the prize after seeing an article online.
“I cannot reveal any more at this time, as we respect the right to anonymity of our winners, but I would like to congratulate LC. It is quite the prize to come home to.”
Ms Moore explained how winning a prize home delivered individuals with the opportunity to settle in right away.
“Our prize home lotteries include everything from the appliances to the bedsheets and come with $10,000 in cashable gold bullion to cover rates and expenses,” she said.
“So, LC has time to think about what to do with this amazing home and can probably start planning their next holiday.”
